Position Overview:


As a Quality Control Supervisor for Fabric Installations, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the Retrofit department of Correct Contract Services Limited. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all fabric installations meet the stringent standards set forth by PAS2030 and PAS2035.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive quality control inspections on all fabric installations.
  • Perform mid-installation audits in accordance with PAS2030 standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and installation guidelines.
  • Report directly to the central administration team leader and the Operations Manager regarding quality control matters.

Essential Duties:
  • Maintain the company’s quality standards through rigorous quality assurance checks and ensure a high-quality finish on all projects.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and their customers, demonstrating respect for all individuals and effectively addressing challenges.
  • Promote and uphold compliance with PAS2030 and PAS2035 standards across all operations.
  • Provide timely defect reports to the central administration for prompt resolution of issues.
  • Facilitate continuous education and training for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Engage with customers to promote the company’s quality standards and educate them on best practices.
  • Conduct intrusive testing and verify results of retrofit installations.
  • Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and compliant with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to maintain the standards of the Quality Management System (QMS) and company quality manual.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated and in optimal working condition.
  • Report to the Operations Manager on technical matters and maintain communication with clients regarding ongoing projects.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • General competence in the relevant trade.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Experience in fabric installation and the built environment.
  • Strong punctuality, professionalism, and flexibility.
  • Proficient in using mobile PDA technology.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Experience Required:
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the social housing sector on installation projects is advantageous.
  • Direct experience working with residents and clients.
  • A clean UK driving license and a DBS check are mandatory.
