Your Role
The Cluster Safety & Security Manager will be responsible for hotel security operations and will adhere to protocols to guarantee the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property. This position oversees the security function across all our hotels in the Gatwick region.
- Ensure the protection and security of the hotel premises, parking areas, guests, employees, and visitors, along with all property contained within.
- Oversee the daily operations of the security department and provide support to all other hotel departments.
- Remain adaptable to cover changes in the security department schedule, including holidays and shifts.
- Train all team members in the appropriate systems of work, policies, and procedures, while managing and monitoring all tasks performed.
- Within legal and company policy boundaries, intervene, search, and detain individuals committing offenses against the company within the premises.
- Sign police charge sheets on behalf of the company and represent the company in court as a prosecutor.
About You
- Passionate about guest satisfaction, with a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.
- Committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
- Previous experience as a Safety & Security Manager in a hotel setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A leader dedicated to developing and motivating the security team.
- SIA License, First Aid at Work training, and NEBOSH certification are highly desirable.
