About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization in delivering our strategic mission. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving financial growth, ensuring compliance with charity commission regulations, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing remote teams, generating income aligned to strategic goals, and working with Boards of Trustees or Directors. They will also possess a strong understanding of health, equity, and diversity principles, as well as effective communication, influencing, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of our three-year strategic plan, maximizing our impact and resilience.
  2. Foster strong relationships with the Chair and the Board of Trustees.
  3. Build relationships with external stakeholders, including government and the children's workforce.
  4. Seek out and develop new income streams to ensure stability and continued growth.
  5. Represent us as a spokesperson for media and PR.
  6. Ensure compliance with charity commission regulations.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Experience of working with and reporting to a Board of Trustees or Directors and managing governance processes.
  2. Experience of leading and managing a remote team.
  3. Experience in generating income aligned to strategic goals.
  4. A strong understanding of health, equity, and diversity principles.
  5. A transformational leadership style with extensive experience of working at a strategic level in the charity or non-profit sector.
  6. Effective communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  7. A resilient and determined mindset, capable of leading a team.
