About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our Cloud Engineering team at Insider-inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and resilience.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of our DevOps culture, troubleshoot application and system issues, and add minimal complexity to monitor, deploy, and scale our continuously growing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the architecture for best-in-class solutions for our cloud platform, building scalable and secure solutions on AWS.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship for other team members.
  • Manage and enhance our global AWS services and infrastructure, adhering to security best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to foster an effective DevOps culture.
  • Troubleshoot application and system issues in collaboration with feature team engineers, communicating status to the broader team.
  • Implement minimal complexity to monitor, deploy, and scale a continuously growing environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in mentoring and providing technical leadership for a team.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of building and supporting cloud applications at scale.
  • A positive attitude and ability to contribute effectively to discussions.
  • Professional experience with AWS and Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • A high degree of comfort in deploying cloud-native applications using Terraform and Kubernetes and the ability to evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in coding in a modern programming language.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
