We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Sister to join our Gynaecology service at the East Midlands Planned Care Centre (EMPCC). This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the department in the absence of the ward manager, including understanding finances, staff rosters, sickness and absence, delegation and supervision of staff.
- Be visible and approachable for patients, staff and visitors.
- Deliver consistently high standards of nursing care that meet the individual needs of our patients.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- RGN - first level qualification.
- Diploma or Degree in nursing or health-related subject.
- Evidence of successful change management.
- Evidence of post-registration educational continuing development.
