Job Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Morepeople 01780. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer in the food industry, producing a wide range of products including cured and uncured meats, and pork pies. You will be working on a 3on 3off night shift pattern, and will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, as well as simple fabrications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on a range of machinery and equipment
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs and replacements
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless production
Requirements:
  • Experience in the food industry is highly desirable
  • Fully qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to work permanent nights
