Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our engineering business, you will be responsible for leading our civil engineering projects and managing a team of skilled civil and structural engineers. You will champion excellence within the discipline, providing guidance and support to foster team development and align with InoRail's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of skilled Civil Engineers, providing guidance and development support.
  • Act as Contractor Responsible Engineer (CRE) across a range of engineering projects across all stages of design.
  • Lead and coordinate civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
  • Support junior engineers with professional development.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Support the development of proposals.
  • Understand design procedures, change control, checking and review requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with clients and highlight opportunities relevant to Civil Engineering.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Be part of the Senior Leadership team, contributing to the long-term development of the InoRail business.

Requirements:

  • Demonstratable experience in a senior Civil Engineering role, acting as CRE.
  • Ideal experience in team leadership, or an aspiration to develop in line management.
  • Proven track record in Civil Engineering and Project Management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work successfully with clients.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
