About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth installation and commissioning of electrical systems in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the installation teams with planned and reactive fault diagnoses, basic commissioning, panel modification, and technical queries at site level.
  • Communicate with various departments within the business and liaise with customers.
  • Assist with and carry out all types of Low Voltage electrical work.
  • Reasonable understanding of mechanical systems.
  • NICEIC Testing.
  • Fault finding/diagnostics without drawings and support.
  • Panel/Circuit modifications without drawings and support.
  • Commissioning of various equipment relevant to the water industry.
  • Work with Systems Integrator with commissioning and modifications.
  • Navigate HMI/SCADA systems.
  • Prepare RAMS, ensuring safe working conditions.
Requirements
  • ECS card.
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Fitness to work medical.
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training.
  • Prepared to take responsibility for self and others.
  • Able to work on own initiative and ability to give and take instruction.
  • Completion of appropriate electrical qualification.
