Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - Water Industry Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at CV Library. The ideal candidate will have experience in commissioning mechanical and electrical plant in the wastewater industry and a good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement commissioning plans to ensure that all MEICA and process commissioning activities are planned and delivered to the appropriate standards.
  2. Collaborate with the project team to ensure that commissioning documentation is completed and available on the Common Data Environment.
  3. Review and sign off project Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure that they are managed through Kier's common data environment.
  4. Work with the supply chain onsite to fault find as and where required, ensuring activities are completed in a safe manner and in line with the project program.
  5. Lead the reliability and performance testing stage of the project, including the production and acceptance of a report highlighting compliance with the Client's objectives.

Requirements:

  1. A Full UK Driving Licence
  2. Water industry experience
  3. BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC qualified Mechanical or Electrical engineer
  4. Relevant CSCS card
  5. SMSTS
  6. Confined Spaces
  7. Experience Commissioning Mechanical / Electrical plant in Wastewater
  8. Good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant / equipment.

  1. Thames Water Passport
  2. DSEAR Knowledge / COMPEX Qualifications
  3. EUSR - Water Hygiene Card
