Position Overview

As a Lead Systems Architect, you will play a pivotal role in our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) Group, which has been at the forefront of delivering specialized software, services, and training for over four decades.

Our team is dedicated to providing unparalleled services that are essential for the advancement of CEMA and the broader Electronic Warfare infrastructure, supporting both the UK and its allies.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leading a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, solution architects, systems engineers, and ex-military personnel, to enhance operational capabilities and ensure the safety of personnel and platforms.
  • Engaging with clients on-site and at our operational headquarters, while also benefiting from flexible working arrangements.
  • Translating complex technical requirements into actionable work breakdown structures, production methodologies, and resource allocations, while providing ongoing support throughout the deployment phase.
  • Utilizing your expertise in Model Based Systems Engineering (UML/SysML/Archimate) to facilitate these processes.
Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience across the Engineering Delivery Lifecycle.
  • In-depth knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems within the Defence sector.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing teams and complex projects.
  • Proficiency in coding, particularly in JavaScript or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Previous military experience related to Electronic Warfare systems, whether in operations, maintenance, support, or acquisition.

Given the sensitive nature of the projects, candidates must meet stringent security requirements.
