About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior theatre practitioner to join our perioperative team at NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital as a SCN/SCODP within theatres.

As a SCN/SCODP, you will be responsible for the daily management of your specialty, ensuring patients receive a high standard of safe, effective, and person-centered care. This requires a visible leader who can provide clinical supervision for your staff group to support the delivery of patient care.

You will lead the team within theatres, working collaboratively with areas such as Critical Care to enable a smooth patient flow, resulting in excellent patient outcomes. You will be pivotal in the provision of complex surgery and contribute to national services such as NORS.

The post holder will also have a focus on utilization, ensuring efficient use of theatres to support patients through their perioperative journey.
