Job Summary:

The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to oversee the data requirements of its prime contract. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Data Analysts, supporting the effective delivery of contractual requirements, and ensuring the accurate collation and reporting of management information and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Data Analysts to ensure the effective delivery of contractual requirements.
  • Collate and report management information and trend analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the management and use of the case management system (CMS) and ensure secure processes related to data disclosure.
  • Build and produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and compile management review information packs.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for data and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong proven experience in the use of case management systems with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of successful people management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to draft and present business cases and reports.
  • Demonstrable experience in contributing to the design and delivery of end-to-end technical process change management.
  • The ability to think critically, creatively, and be a solution-focused manager.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities to respond to tight deadlines.
  • Strong data management and IT skills with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database systems.
  • The ability to develop, implement, document, and continuously improve processes, procedures, and systems.
  • The ability to travel to work locations within England and Wales, with occasional overnight stays as required.
  • The ability and willingness to work within and be empathic with the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.
