About The Job Guru

The Job Guru is a dynamic and supportive company that provides comprehensive legal services across various practice areas. We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Cashier to join our vibrant team in a multidisciplinary law firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Manage client and office accounts in accordance with Solicitor Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, receipts, and transfers.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash, maintaining accurate financial records and producing relevant reports as required.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with SRA AML regulations and internal policies, assisting with the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts.
  • Accounting Support: Liaise with fee earners and support staff to resolve accounting queries, maintaining accurate financial records and producing relevant reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm, with in-depth knowledge of Solicitors Account Rules (SAR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Skills: Proficiency in legal accounting software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Benefits:

Salary: £35,400 (dependent on experience)
