Job Title: Legal Cashier

We are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join our dynamic team at The Job Guru. As a Legal Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our law firm's financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client and office accounts in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) guidelines.
  • Process payments, receipts, and transfers accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash.
  • Ensure compliance with SRA AML regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts.
  • Liaise with fee earners and support staff to resolve accounting queries.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and produce relevant reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of Solicitors Account Rules (SAR) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Proficiency in legal accounting software.

Benefits:

Salary: £35,400 (dependent on experience)
