About the Role

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncologist to join our team. As a specialist in Breast and Colorectal tumours, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our oncology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a radiotherapy and SACT service for major tumour sites, including Breast and Colorectal
  • Provide expert clinical opinion and take full responsibility for patient care
  • Contribute to research, clinical governance, audit, and training of junior staff
  • Participate in trust teaching programmes and medical school teaching

We are investing in significant upgrades to our radiotherapy department, including the commissioning of a new planning system and an SGRT system.

Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC with licence to practice
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent qualifications
  • Completion of higher specialist training in Clinical Oncology
  • Entry onto the Specialist Register (or entry expected within 6 months of interview date)
