Job Title: Electrical Team Leader - Crane Maintenance

At Liberty Steel Group, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to lead our crane maintenance team at our Stocksbridge site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electric overhead travelling cranes and other lifting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of skilled and apprentice craftsmen to execute planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve crane performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with the Shift Management team to ensure safety, quality, and production plans are met
  • Provide technical expertise and training to team members
  • Coordinate and supervise other services and contractors
Requirements:
  • Recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship (HNC or equivalent)
  • Sound plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to methodically fault find issues
  • Experience of working under permit systems
  • Customer-focused attitude with an understanding of prioritisation
