We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our Engineering team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of renewable energy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the delivery of renewable energy projects, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective project communication plans, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular project reviews and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Proven experience in renewable energy project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including wind, solar, and hydro power.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the UK as required.
