Job Title: Radiotherapy Systems Engineer

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Radiotherapy Systems Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of advanced linear accelerators in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintenance of advanced linear accelerators
  • Leadership and management support in a team environment
  • Implementation and management of an ISO 9001 quality system
  • Teaching and training in a multidisciplinary environment
Requirements:
  • Significant demonstrable experience of the repair and maintenance of advanced linear accelerators
  • Leadership qualities and ability to provide management support and organisational skills
  • Experience of the implementation and management of an ISO 9001 quality system
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced radiotherapy technologist to join one of the largest radiotherapy departments in the UK. The successful candidate will be based at Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, but may be required to carry out some duties at the Lanarkshire Beatson satellite centre in Airdrie, Lanarkshire.
