Radiotherapy Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Radiotherapy Systems Engineer to join our team at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. As a key member of our clinical physics and bio-engineering department, you will be responsible for the implementation and management of radiotherapy equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and manage radiotherapy equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clinical staff on the use of radiotherapy equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement new radiotherapy technologies and treatments.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality systems and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the training and education of staff on radiotherapy equipment and systems.
- Degree in Medical Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
- Registration on the Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT) held by the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) is desirable.
- Experience of the implementation and management of an ISO 9001 quality system in a clinical radiotherapy environment would be advantageous.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and the ability to provide management support and organisational skills in a team environment.
