Infrastructure Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team at MASS Consultants. As a key member of our Digital Services Group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex infrastructure solutions for our clients.
About the Role:- Design and implement VMware-based server and virtual desktop solutions, including ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon.
- Install and support Dell VxRail and ESXi on new hardware, including Dell EMC Storage Centre roles.
- Perform planning activities for VxRail solutions and gather business requirements to translate into technology solutions.
- Work with internal and external users to ensure all hardware and software is configured appropriately and is fit for purpose.
- Strong working knowledge of vCenter, ESXi, CLI commands, and ESXi updates/troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong customer service and professional client-facing skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, DNS/DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls within the scope of the VMware technology stack.
- Experience working with Microsoft Server operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with IP Routing and GRE tunnels.
- Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- On-Premise Layer 3 Switching experience with vendor hardware such as Cisco, Dell, or Aruba.
