Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance: Collaborate with local stakeholders to establish a governance structure, monitor its effectiveness, and identify and escalate issues.
  • Standards and Compliance: Identify requirements, conduct gap analysis, and support the development and delivery of improvement programmes.
  • Emergency Planning: Support the development of local emergency planning scenarios and ensure sites are informed.
  • Performance Reporting: Identify, collect, and present additional local data requirements, analyse data to monitor local HSE Performance, and initiate local reduction/improvement actions.
  • Planning: Help prepare specific improvement activity plans, clarifying risk-based improvement priorities and requirements for the development of the HS&E programme.
  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with experience working in a HS&E role
  • Background in manufacturing & engineering would be preferential, but not essential.
  • Motivated, self-starter who can drive projects and issues through to resolution and take ownership for solution implementation.
