Solar PV Maintenance Specialist

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a skilled Solar PV Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar PV assets in the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance according to the PPM annual plan
  • Respond to corrective maintenance requests as they occur
  • Report activities performed on site, upon any site visit and on a daily basis, through the CMMS or manual reports as applicable
  • Own risk assessment, analysis, and operational limitations
  • Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors carrying out works on site
  • Comply with all required fire, health, and safety requirements for the environment in which you are working
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and ability to follow maintenance schedules on a tablet computer
  • Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems, including AC distribution boards, DC combiner boxes, automation panels, etc.
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems and SCADA systems
  • Knowledge of High Voltage systems, up to 33kV, in terms of switching operations and maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of industry instruments, such as Digital multimeters, Amp clamp-meters, insulation resistance testers, etc.
