Wood is currently seeking experienced Electrical Designers to join our team on a hybrid contract basis.

We are looking for technically strong professionals with a background in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, or Power Generation industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applicable international codes and standards, as well as experience in delivering electrical deliverables with minimal guidance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Coordinating with other discipline design groups to progress a joined-up plant design
  • Developing and implementing electrical design philosophies and standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND or higher)
  • Proven track record in FEED and Detailed Engineering (EPC) project phases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with experience in Micro-station 2D and other relevant software

Wood offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be able to commit to the project duration.
