In the role of Electrical Operations Supervisor, your main objective will be to cultivate the essential team dynamics required to achieve outstanding results and objectives for the organization.

Role Summary

As the Electrical Operations Supervisor, you will be pivotal in upholding ISS Facility Services UK's premier status within the sector and further strengthening our standing with clients.

Compliance with health and safety regulations is critical in your position, and you will ensure rigorous adherence at all times. Being proactive, collaborative, and consistently fulfilling assigned tasks are vital components of your duties.

You will be a key member of a unified team committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. By promoting collaboration, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence, you will enhance the overall success and reputation of ISS Facility Services UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with established schedules, ensuring engineering standards are upheld to maximize the operational efficiency and reliability of the facility and related electrical systems.
  • Comply with engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) regulations.
  • Ensure that onsite Quality Assurance protocols are followed in all respects and maintain precise records/documentation related to the electrical components of the PPM and facility.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues and service requests.
  • Conduct technical assessments of the aforementioned services and systems, reporting findings to the Critical Engineering Manager.
  • Prepare cost estimates for materials needed for any minor works required.
  • Coordinate initial responses to all client requests.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to management.
  • Carry out follow-up actions necessary to resolve situations for which you have been authorized to act.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Experience in a similar critical environment.
  • Previous HVAP or LVAP certification is essential.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of building service systems and equipment.
  • Strong Electrical and Mechanical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation relevant to safe working practices.
  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.
  • 18th Edition certification.
  • Electrical Apprenticeship completed within the building maintenance sector.
  • Experience with similar maintenance responsibilities, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Experience in the electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
  • Proficient in electrical installation work, as well as electrical testing and inspection.
