Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Holy Brook School. The successful candidate will work closely with our staff to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the professional work of teachers in planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals, groups or short-term whole-class programs.
  • Monitor and assess pupils, record and report on their achievement, progress and development, and liaise with class teachers and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manage and develop a specialist area within the school, and mentor other staff as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to use initiative while following advice and direction.
  • Resilience and ability to work effectively in a team.
