Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate Housing and Community Officer to join our team. As a key member of our housing management team, you will play a vital role in shaping a thriving community and making a real difference to residents' lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Support tenants with their support needs to help them sustain their tenancies.
- Assess housing applicants and manage allocations in line with our Lettings Policy.
- Ensure tenancy terminations and new lettings comply with policy and targets.
- Work collaboratively with the Housing Management team to resolve tenant disputes and enforce tenancy conditions.
- Assist with legal action to enforce tenancy conditions when necessary.
- Experience in a housing management role or knowledge of tenancy law is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the community.
