We are seeking a talented student to join our team at Organon for a 12-month placement in our Business Technology unit. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain practical experience in a Technology Analyst position and develop a strong foundation for success in your future.
As a student placement, you will be working in a professional and friendly environment, supporting the development and improvement of our IT systems and processes. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including the implementation of new IT systems, development of new business systems, and maintenance of existing IT systems.
The position is based in Cramlington, Northumberland, at the Organon Manufacturing site, which has been a key manufacturing facility since 1975. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and contribute to the company's mission to deliver ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities- Implementation of new IT systems to support business requirements.
- Development of new business systems to meet business requirements, project timescales, and users' expectations.
- Provide technical expertise to implement and integrate new and existing systems and technologies.
- Opportunities to manage and deliver your own projects with support from team members.
- Potential candidates will be working towards a minimum of a 2:1 in a relevant IT discipline.
- Candidates must be entering a third or penultimate year of study, returning to a degree course at the end of the placement.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to build relationships and trust at all levels and with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and innovating skills.
- Team player, learning from and helping others overcome obstacles.
- Display excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
