About the RoleThe Product Training Specialist is a critical member of our team, responsible for creating engaging training materials and delivering training programs for our CARA platform. This role plays a vital part in building confidence and technical skills across our diverse group of learners, including platform architects, developers, administrators, business analysts, super users, and end users.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Development & Documentation- Develop comprehensive training materials, including manuals, guides, presentations, and multimedia content, to support training programs for both technical and non-technical users of the CARA platform.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and trainers to gather content, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and best practices.
- Regularly update and revise documentation to reflect changes in processes, procedures, and technology, maintaining a central repository for easy access by stakeholders.
- Deliver engaging, virtual learning experiences to a global audience, with potential for on-site delivery as required.
- Provide pre-session and ongoing support to participants, including materials preparation, troubleshooting, and Q&A.
- Design and implement assessments (quizzes, labs, capstone projects) that effectively measure learning outcomes, using feedback to refine and improve the overall training program.
- Conduct usability testing on CARA training materials and assessments, gather feedback from participants, and ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and delivering technical enterprise software training in a corporate or organisational setting.
- Strong skills in content authoring tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), and an understanding of adult learning principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, meeting deadlines effectively.
