About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team at an outstanding school in Winchester. As an English teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly regarded educational institution known for its commitment to academic excellence and student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality English Lessons: Teach English to students in accordance with the school's curriculum, ensuring a engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Plan and Prepare Lessons: Develop and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting academic achievement and personal growth.
  • Assess and Provide Feedback: Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to support their progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
  • Communicate with Parents: Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding students' progress.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status: Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
  • Teaching Experience: Have experience teaching English at the primary/secondary level.
  • Subject Knowledge: Possess strong subject knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Show strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Teamwork: Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Professional Development: Commit to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and methodologies.
