Join Gunzilla Games as a Lead VFX Artist - Technical Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with VFX and Shader teams in Unreal Engine or comparable platforms to drive feature innovation.
  • Design and enhance Niagara Systems for optimal performance.
  • Oversee the VFX production pipeline, mentoring VFX Artists, evaluating their work, and ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Material Graph within Unreal for the development of shaders and visual effects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, VFX, and Environmental Art.
  • Keep abreast of industry advancements to refine the VFX production process.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with VFX and Shader development in Unreal Engine or similar technologies, particularly with Niagara.
  • Ability to create module scripts effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of Blueprints.
  • Experience with Unreal Insights or other profiling tools to assess VFX performance.
  • Prior involvement in a released AAA title as a VFX Artist.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Validation & Automation Tools for VFX.
  • Experience integrating Houdini with Unreal for VFX.
