About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist - VFX/Shaders to join our team in working on OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Battle Royale 2.0 third-person shooter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing visual effects and shaders in Unreal Engine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new visual effects and shaders in Unreal Engine
  • Optimize visual effects and shaders for performance
  • Develop and maintain the VFX pipeline, ensuring seamless collaboration with other departments
  • Collaborate with designers, VFX artists, and environment artists to create cohesive and engaging visual experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our VFX pipeline
Requirements
  • Experience with VFX and shaders in Unreal Engine, preferably with Niagara
  • Ability to author module scripts
  • Experience with Blueprints
  • Experience with Unreal Insights or profiling tools such as Pix or RenderDoc
  • Previous experience shipping AAA titles as a VFX artist
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with validation and automation tools for VFX
  • Houdini to Unreal VFX experience
