About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Acis Group. As a Site Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our student accommodation facilities, ensuring that they are safe, compliant, and meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the site maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure they are delivering a high level of service and following relevant policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify and address maintenance issues, and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including asset and stock management.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with other teams, including facilities management and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage and supervise contractors and external agencies to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to maintenance and facilities management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities management role, with a strong understanding of health and safety and building safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
