About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising electrical installations on various projects across the water industry, construction, and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise electrical engineering works on water industry projects, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to by site teams.
  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems to the highest standards, in accordance with project quality plans and inspection and test plans.
  • Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates, and Apprentices.
  • Promote and demonstrate Bridges' values when interacting with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
  • Act as an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining a positive company reputation.
Requirements
  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • Experience within the water, industrial, or construction industry.
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable)
  • Good client engagement and communication skills.
  • Able to manage own and others' workload.
  • Experienced in site managing electrical projects.
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification.
  • CCNSG (or similar)
  • Full UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications
  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Test and Inspect
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
  • COMPEX
