About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Clinical Systems Development group at Waters Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support our scientific analysis products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software across our technology stack, including C#,.NET, and Angular.
  • Contribute to team and project continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline agile teams to deliver software for Waters Clinical Systems.
  • Design, develop, and maintain all aspects of software developed by the department.
  • Work closely with software test engineers to improve product quality.
  • Provide code and supporting documentation in accordance with software development processes and codes of practice.
  • Identify opportunities for improved productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Build strong working relationships with other departments.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery frameworks and approaches.

Requirements

  • Experience as a software developer, preferably with exposure to C#,.NET, and Angular.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative nature, with the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and decision-making skills.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a science, engineering, or computing-related subject.

Desirable Skills

  • Agile software development for iterative product delivery.
  • Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), with Gherkin & SpecFlow.
  • Atlassian Jira, Bamboo, Confluence.
  • Software development for regulated environments (IVD / Medical devices).
