Product Operations Manager – Luxury Travel

Rockpool Recruitment is representing a distinguished client that provides an exclusive collection of luxury residences to a selective clientele. They are currently seeking a Product Operations Manager to enhance their team.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Operations Manager:

  • Drive the strategy for expanding the inventory of luxury properties.
  • Establish and nurture vital partnerships with individual homeowners and property management firms to meet annual growth targets. The manager will also devise and execute effective strategies to attract potential clients, showcasing the client's unique offerings to high-end property management companies.
  • Engage in negotiations regarding commissions and create commercial agreements and contracts, ensuring quality control by reviewing and editing property listings prepared by the copywriting team to align with the client's branding standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of property management companies and homeowner-operated properties.
  • Supervise and mentor a small operations team, facilitating their development through regular training sessions and meetings.
  • Organize familiarization trips to key European destinations, visiting properties and engaging with essential partners.
  • Deliver concise product presentations during weekly company meetings, spotlighting remarkable properties in the portfolio and introducing newly acquired inventory.
  • Focus on enhancing and optimizing existing workflows within the Operations team.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Experience in a company specializing in vacation property rentals, particularly in onboarding new properties or property management entities.
  • Proven track record in negotiating contracts and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and proficiency in managing data updates and entries.
  • A strong process-oriented mindset with commercial awareness is essential.
  • Initial management of one team member is expected, with potential for growth in team size, thus prior management experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus, though not mandatory.

Additional Information:

This role operates Monday to Friday, with a standard schedule. The office environment is dynamic and located in a central area, with a hybrid work model allowing for two days of in-office presence each week.
