We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity with one of our esteemed surveying partners, specializing in delivering expert surveying and setting out solutions for earthworks and civil engineering initiatives.

Role Overview: We are seeking Professional Setting Out Engineers with a robust background in various construction sectors, particularly in earthworks and extensive civil engineering projects. Our client excels in utilizing cutting-edge machine control technology to develop precise digital terrain models and 3D modeling for machine guidance, ensuring optimal operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive topographical surveys that merge advanced technology with our extensive expertise, providing high-quality survey data for a diverse clientele.
- Performing earthworks and volumetric surveys to assess the volume and value of earthworks, stockpiles, and other materials.
- Utilizing drone technology to gather detailed photogrammetric data from challenging or inaccessible locations.
- Producing detailed as-built surveys with efficiency and precision.


Additional Duties:
- Executing detailed setting out tasks in accordance with contract specifications, ensuring regular checks are performed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in setting out and surveying within the civil engineering sector.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings.
  • Proficient in survey software (preferably LSS) and capable of generating volume calculations.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD LT.
  • Skilled in using total stations and GPS equipment for surveying and setting out.
  • Experience in establishing profile boards and batter rails for earthworks projects.
