An exciting opportunity exists for a Geospatial Engineer & Site Layout Specialist within a firm dedicated to delivering surveying and site layout solutions for earthmoving and infrastructure projects.

The successful applicant will possess a background in diverse construction sectors, particularly in earthmoving and extensive infrastructure initiatives, along with expertise in machinery control systems. Mastery of contemporary machinery control technologies for generating precise digital terrain models and three-dimensional representations is essential.

Earthmoving assessments & volumetric calculations:
  • Assess quantities of earthmoving, stockpiles, and additional materials
  • Employ aerial surveys for comprehensive photogrammetric analysis
  • Produce drawings/as-built assessments proficiently

Key Responsibilities
  • Executing layout tasks in accordance with project specifications
  • Verifying plans, drawings, and measurements
  • Conducting preliminary site assessments
  • Upholding rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
  • Carrying out site calibration evaluations
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in infrastructure layout and surveying
  • Capability to interpret construction schematics
  • Proficiency in surveying software and AutoCAD LT
  • Experience with total stations, GPS equipment, and leveling instruments
  • Expertise in setting out profile boards and batter rails
