Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team at Reed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in mechanical and electrical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Improve Quality Processes: Develop and implement effective quality control measures to drive excellence in our Goods Inwards Inspection process.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers: Work closely with suppliers to determine and drive inspection requirements, minimizing workload and optimizing inspections.
  • Track and Analyze Quality Metrics: Utilize D365 to track and analyze inspection items, reducing non-conformances and ensuring quality control.
  • Optimize Supplier Quality Processes: Refine and optimize Supplier Quality processes and Material Control Document workflows to ensure seamless quality control.
  • Manage Quality Control Equipment: Oversee the programming and calibration of measuring equipment, ensuring up-to-date software and proper labeling.
Requirements
  • Experience in Supplier Quality: Proven experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer role or similar position.
  • Quality Standards Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical component quality standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using D365 or similar systems for tracking and analysis.
  • Quality Control Experience: Experience in managing Goods Inwards Inspection processes and conducting supplier audits.
