About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aldi Stores Careers as an Assistant Store Manager, where you will play a key role in helping to run a multi-million pound store. As a people manager, you will be responsible for motivating and developing a diverse and talented team to deliver excellent customer service.

As a Store Manager's right-hand person, you will support with tasks such as sorting deliveries, placing orders, and dealing with customer queries. You will also be focused on people management and performance, as well as organizing holiday rotas for the team. Your goal will be to maximize sales, ensure great customer service, minimize costs, and optimize operational efficiency.

You will need to be an experienced people-manager, used to leading teams in a fast-paced, stakeholder/customer-driven environment. You should be skilled in time management and boosting operational efficiency, motivated to consistently achieve targets, and passionate about developing your team to deliver excellent customer service.

Please note that the salary displayed is based on a 45-hour per week contract. Aldi Stores Careers also offer 32, 36, and 40-hour contracts, and in these instances, the salary offered would be pro-rated.
