Position Overview

Kier Group is seeking two Senior Quantity Surveyors to enhance our Natural Resources division. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, complemented by site visits as necessary.

Location: Primarily remote with occasional travel for site assessments.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time – options for flexible and part-time hours are available upon request.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in our Natural Resources team, overseeing the financial management of projects valued between £5m-£20m, specifically within the clean and dirty water treatment sectors. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the financial resources (both personnel and budget) of assigned projects to optimize planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
  • Facilitating the authorization and submission of project variations.
  • Enhancing cash flow by managing, measuring (including quality), and valuing work, along with the invoicing of clients and payments to suppliers.

Candidate Profile

  • You possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • You have experience with complex civil engineering projects in the water sector.
