We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Red Kite School, a brand-new independent special educational needs school in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to develop as individuals and engage with the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with their learning journeys, preparing materials and running classroom activities
  • Take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of pupils, providing a safe and nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively with experienced teams to provide a comprehensive support system for pupils
  • Assist with outdoor experiences and activities, promoting physical and emotional well-being
Requirements:
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with SEN and in a school setting
  • Adaptability and a willingness to work in a variety of classroom roles
