Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and person-centered care, requiring in-depth knowledge and experience of ASU care, telemedicine, brain imaging, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy.
• Contribute to the teaching and education of junior staff, promoting evidence-based practice.
• Support the phase one implementation of thrombectomy, necessitating a sound understanding of thrombectomy procedures.
• Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care to the highest standard possible.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Completed all Stroke-specific training.
• Competent to order brain imaging in line with local policy.
• Competent to manage CVAD.
• Extended stroke skills and knowledge.
• Experience in screening TIA referrals and deciding on the most appropriate pathway.
• Experience of undertaking training sessions for nursing staff, students, and ANPs.

Working Hours:

33.75 hours per week.
