Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and person-centered care, requiring in-depth knowledge and experience of ASU care, telemedicine, brain imaging, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy.
- Contribute to the teaching and education of junior staff, promoting evidence-based practice.
- Support the phase one implementation of thrombectomy, necessitating a sound understanding of thrombectomy procedures.
- Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care to the highest standard possible.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Completed all Stroke-specific training.
- Competent to order brain imaging in line with local policy.
- Competent to manage CVAD.
- Extended stroke skills and knowledge.
- Experience in screening TIA referrals and deciding on the most appropriate pathway.
- Experience of undertaking training sessions for nursing staff, students, and ANPs.
Working Hours:
33.75 hours per week.
