Academic Attendance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Academic Office Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving student attendance in Primary, Secondary, and SEN Schools across Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Attendance Monitoring: Regularly monitor student attendance, identifying patterns and areas for improvement.
- Student Support: Work closely with students, parents, and school staff to provide support and guidance to improve attendance.
- Liaison and Communication: Maintain effective communication with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, Tutors, SENCo, and other relevant staff to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Attendance Targets: Identify students who require additional support and work with them to meet attendance targets.
- Education Welfare Officer: Meet with the Education Welfare Officer on a weekly basis to discuss student attendance and progress.
- Referrals and Support: Refer students who are not meeting attendance targets to relevant support services.
