Job Title: PSHE Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PSHE Tutor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality PSHE sessions to 16–19-year-olds in groups of up to 30, promoting student engagement and motivation.
  • Take responsibility for students' journey, facilitating the development of skills needed for progression into employment and/or Higher Education.
  • Monitor student progress, supporting academic performance and developing soft skills.
  • Provide a forum for academic discussion, encouraging development through volunteering, citizenship, and participation in the Student Voice.
  • Assist students in developing knowledge of the College, providing information on available support services.
  • Deliver learning using relevant technologies, assessing and providing feedback to students.
  • Maintain excellent communication with students, college staff, and parents/carers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum level 3 academic or vocational qualification and 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths.
  • Experience of teaching/working with a wide range of students with varying needs and abilities.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Applications.
