Senior Support Worker Job Description

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. This part-time role will involve working 20 hours per week, with some unsocial hours and weekend work required.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of Support Workers to ensure high-quality services are delivered to service users.
  • Allocate work to Support Workers effectively, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Support service users to promote their independence and empower them to make informed choices.
  • Monitor staff performance and identify training needs through skills performance assessments.
  • Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
