The UK Lead for Asset Management plays a crucial role within the Amazon UK Services Ltd. team. This position is focused on managing the real estate portfolio across the UK and Ireland, with a significant focus on logistics properties and parking facilities.

This role reports to the EMEA Head of Asset Management and requires regular travel within the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of logistics properties and parking facilities in the UK and Ireland.
  • Deliver strategic real estate insights to senior management.
  • Handle lease negotiations, portfolio enhancement, and risk assessment.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for lease-related issues.
  • Build and sustain relationships with landlords and external partners.
  • Ensure precise reporting and management of key lease events.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.
  • Encourage a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Support the development and career progression of team members.
  • Provide financial reporting and budget contributions.
  • Engage in international travel for meetings and training sessions.
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Real Estate or a related discipline is required. An advanced degree or professional certifications are preferred.

Demonstrated experience in asset management, particularly in the real estate sector.

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA from a recognized institution.
  • Membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proven ability to foster successful partnerships and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
