Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and treatment interventions.

You will receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions.

Maintaining accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation/progress is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, relatives, carers, and purchasers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely records
