About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and management of all aspects of health and safety across Bernicia Group.
As a Health and Safety Adviser, you will report to the Head of Health and Safety and undertake a full range of health and safety and related administrative duties.
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about health and safety and wants to make a real difference to the environment of colleagues, customers, and contractors.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and relevant post-NGC experience.
- An inquisitive and logical mind.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- A NEBOSH Construction Certificate would be advantageous.
- Experience in auditing construction sites, drafting and reviewing task risk assessments, undertaking CoSHH and HAVS risk assessments would be advantageous.
- Ideally, you will hold or be working towards your NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- A full driving license and use of a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
