Job Title: Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Manager
Location: Tolleshunt Major, Essex
Salary: £40,500 - £46,091 pro rata (based on a 40-hour week and experience)
Job Type: Part-time, 24 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual with a background in Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) standards. This role focuses on managing HSQE procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain HSQE policies and procedures in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Oversee quality and environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001).
- Assist in carrying out Achilles audits.
- Assist in onboarding new team members.
- Engage with regulatory bodies.
- Maintain Fleet Operation Recognition Scheme to a minimum of Bronze Level.
- Promote a positive HSQE culture throughout the organisation.
- Stay up to date on legislative changes and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Health and Safety.
- Membership of IOSH at Certified level (Cert IOSH).
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HSQE legislation and experience managing ISO systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Experience in conducting internal and external audits. (Lead Auditor Trained)
- Knowledge of sustainability, environmental, social and governance issues.
- Instructional qualification in Health and Safety-related training.
