We are seeking a Transportation Specialist to Safely escort and be responsible for pupils with specific health care needs, including those with special educational needs. The successful candidate will support such pupils and administer appropriate medical interventions where required.

The Transportation Specialist will work on a casual basis, split shifts to accommodate transport from home to schools in the mornings and to transport from school to home in the afternoons. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the passengers' needs and abilities, communicate with empathy, and be willing to undertake training to meet the health care needs of the child.

The Transportation Specialist will work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the service, which may vary due to different routes, numbers of passengers on the bus, and traffic conditions. They will work as part of the team in this role and undertake necessary training required for the post.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely escort and care for pupils with specific health care needs
